Aurovalley Ashram

“Let your highest aspiration organize your life”

--Sri Aurobindo

Situated near the banks of the Holy River Ganga, Aurovalley is located between the spiritually rich cities of Rishikesh and Hardiwar, home of the classical yogis.

Inviting and cozy, the Auro

valley Ashram is a sanctuary for silence and spiritual growth and the perfect environment for deep meditation. The lovely grounds provide opportunity for outdoor strolls and an idyllic environment to rest and recuperate from hectic city life.

Swami Bramdev, the spiritual teacher and founder of Aurovalley, offers teachings based on the philo

sophy of Sir Aurobindo and The Mother. During our stay we will partake in Aurovalley Ashramís Satsangs. Day trips will include visits to sacred sites and temples, the city of Rishikesh for shopping and the Ganga Aarti divine light ceremony at Parmarth Niketan.

Ananda-in-the-Himalayas

The final days of the mediation course will take place at this world-class, 5-star destination spa located in the Himalayan foothills with breathtaking views of the Ganga.

Once the residence of the Marharaja, Ananda combines the ancient practices of Ayurveda, Yoga and Vedanta with international therapies designed to unify the mind, body and spirit.

Your time at Ananda will be centered around relaxation and rejuvenation. Options include partaking in healing spa treatments, swimming, hiking, fine dining, yoga and Vedanta practice. You will be free to select and create your own program of delights.

The Golden Temple, Amritsar (Punjab)

Our final destinat

ion will be the Golden Temple Amritsar, also known as Hari Mandir Sahib (divine temple). The Golden Temple is a sacred living shrine where people come daily to be inspired and uplifted by the holy writings of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib.

All hours of the day and night sacred Gurbani music is played creating the sound current of the Shabd Guru, an infinite vibration that encourages the mind to recognize divinity within one and all creation.

The Golden Temple is built of marble and gold and is surrounded by healing waters known as the Amrit Sarovar ìpool of nectarî. Designed to serve humanity, the Golden Temple is a place of worship, meditation and Guru-ka-Langar, a dining experience where an estimated of 35,000 people are fed daily in an environment based in equality of all.

The Ista Hotel will be our base for this portion of the trip. This sister hotel of Ananda has also received an illustrious five-star ranking. Ista offers fine dining, spa services and is a short ride to The Golden Temple.
